Veterinarians at Lap of Love are able to profoundly impact pets and their families by helping pets to pass with dignity in their favorite place: home. Team members thrive in our positive, encouraging work culture. Most importantly, our doctors find deep satisfaction in the appreciation they receive from families who cherish the personal and peaceful end-of-life and hospice services we provide to their beloved pets.

We are looking for compassionate, emotionally-intelligent, and self-motivated doctors who connect easily with others and enjoy the freedom of not being tied down to an office.

Aside from the work we do, the unity and support of our team is one of our highest priorities.  Since our inception, our culture has been focused on collaboration and growth to better serve pets and their families, as well as supporting one another through our shared mission.

To this end, we have some values we look for when adding to our family:

  • We are purpose-driven to provide pets and families a peaceful and personal experience.
  • We are consistent and reliable in our services for every pet and family.
  • We are adaptable to the needs of our patients and families.
  • We are willing to go above and beyond.
  • We are humble, non-judgmental, and compassionate in our interactions.
  • We are professional in our work and complete our tasks independently, but are willing to offer a helping hand.

Your role as a Lap of Love Veterinarian will involve many tasks including:

  • Providing in-home euthanasia services to patients across your region.
  • Offering medical advice and support to families for their geriatric and terminally ill pets.
  • Assisting families with quality of life decisions.
  • Visiting clinics to foster strong bonds with our referring practices and local community.

These tasks will require a few things from you in order to be able to complete them successfully:

  • This role will require you to lift weights up to 40lbs unassisted.
  • A valid driver's license and a well-organized vehicle (CUV or SUV) capable of safely transporting pets for aftercare is essential.
  • Working knowledge of technology including, smartphones, tablets/computers, GPS, etc.

Most importantly, you must have compassion and empathy for pets and the people that love them.

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Salary + production bonus, plus many additional incentives & benefits
