Full-time Mixed Animal Practitioner

Mixed Animal Veterinarian needed for a busy Veterinary Practice in Morrison County, Minnesota. We currently employ 3 full-time doctors, 2 veterinary technicians, 5 veterinary assistants, and 3 receptionists. We have served the community since 1963, and under new ownership since 2012, we are continually improving and upgrading. Come with ideas on how to progress further!

Currently, we serve approximately 10% dairy, 10% beef, 65% small animals and 15% other animals including small ruminants, equine, white tail deer and other exotics.

Our philosophy is to provide affordable and effective diagnoses and treatments to the community and surrounding areas and to educate clients on important health issues for their animals. We pride ourselves on second opinion consults.

Our clinic was fully remodeled in 2015 and has a treatment area with 2 dental sinks and digital dental x-rays. We also have a Radiography and ultrasonography suite with digital x-rays. We now offer endoscopy in small animals and equine upper respiratory cases. Laboratory includes 2 Idexx chemistry machines, a Procyte CBC, UA/sedivue, Coag, one surgery suite, and three exam rooms. We use AviMark software for our medical records.

Our location in Minnesota is ideal! We are 12 minutes from Little Falls (population about 8,000), 30 minutes from Brainerd (population about 20,000), 35 minutes from St Cloud and suburbs (population about 100,000) and 35 minutes from Mille Lacs Lake/Grand Casino. Entertainment of the Twin Cities is only a 90 minute drive. There are many lakes on which to own a cabin near and far. Great hunting and fishing is in our back yard.

Within 10 years, building expansion is planned to include more treatment areas, exam rooms, surgery suites, recovery rooms and a possibly a haul-in facility for our large animal clients. Buy-in opportunities/partnerships are available, and profit-sharing is performance based.
