A.A.H.A. Privately Owned Bloomington Veterinary Hospital- New Graduate or experienced veterinarian

Are you looking for a safe picturesque city rated highly by Money Magazine as a great place to live?

Are you looking for a collaborative AAHA practice that treasures work-life balance, mentoring new graduates, and is DRAMA-FREE?

Are you looking for a place that does not rush through appointments but sets aside plenty of time for each patient?

If you answered YES to these questions, I invite you to have a conversation about whether this position is right for you.

Bloomington is a modern, thriving city that has earned its reputation as a wonderful place to live. We are 50 miles SW of Indianapolis.  Bloomington has the charm of small-town life and at the same time offers many Big City pleasures like a world-class opera theater, touring Broadway shows, and Big Ten athletic events. For nature lovers: three lakes, two state forests, three nearby state parks, and a National Forest surround the Bloomington community.

COVID-19 Modifications: We have pet drop off.  Plus keeping our staff, clients, and pets safe during COVID-19 is a top priority.  To make your life easier, we do a virtual interview combined with a virtual tour of our hospital to save you time, assure confidentiality, and give you a real sense of who we really are.

About Us:

We are a profitable growing three and a half privately owned veterinarian practice.

Good work-life balance is an important value of our practice. We do not just say that. Our schedule is 4 days on and 3 days off.

There is real camaraderie and collaboration between doctors and staff. People really like each other. A recently hired technician commented that, “There is just not any drama here.  It’s wonderful!”

Another value we hold dear is mentoring new graduates; all our staff really enjoys teaching to make your experience valuable and comfortable. No rush here. We take the time we need to carefully work up cases. Each veterinarian has their own dedicated highly trained technician.

One of the key contributors to our highly efficient and effective operation is our organized and forward-thinking hospital manager; she helps creates a sense of calm and efficiency throughout the facility.

Education is a key value of the hospital. We stress ongoing education to all our staff.

Equipment includes ultrasound, digital whole body x-ray, anesthesia monitoring equipment, etc.

About You:

We are seeking a passionate, positive, flexible, dependable new graduate or experienced veterinarian with an interest in soft tissue surgery, dentals, diagnosing interesting cases, and real collaboration with all the staff.

Compensation:

Competitive compensation with 20% production ($90-130K), medical insurance, CE plus days off, Retirement program with 3% match, 10-day vacation. If interested, please send your resume to Victoria Travis, MS at victoria@travisandassociates.com or call 720-535-6433. Please know, all inquiries are confidential.
