Associate Veterinarian

SEEKING ENTHUSIASTIC ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN with great communication skills for busy, six doctor, two location practice. College Road Animal Hospital and Carolina Beach Animal Hospital are full-service veterinary medical facilities, located in Wilmington and Carolina Beach, NC.  Each practice has an outstanding staff and equipment to provide exceptional patient care. Including digital radiology (including dental), ultrasound, In-house lab, extensive surgical capabilities, including laser surgery, monitoring equipment, and an in-house board-certified surgical referral option. We also have a Radioactive Iodine Treatment facility to serve our feline friends. We strive to offer excellence in veterinary care for our highly valued patients.

Currently we just finished expanding our College Road location to include a separate entrance and waiting room for our feline patients, a comfort room, acupuncture room, new boarding facilities and doggie day care.

This is an average of 40 hour per week position with primarily canine and feline medicine and surgery.  Workdays are 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday thru Friday, Saturday & Sunday Rotations, and a 6-week urgent care rotation Monday thru Friday from 3:30pm – 9:00pm.  Would prefer applicants with a minimum two years’ experience for this position.  We strive to create a positive work/life balance by giving our doctors a 3-day weekend every other week, in addition one designated day off during the week.  We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
