Veterinary Practice Manager

Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital in Martinsburg, WV, is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic professional to join our team as Veterinary Practice Manager.

We are a growing, 1-doctor, AAHA Accredited, small animal practice that is committed to providing high quality and compassionate medicine to our families and their pets. Our practice provides full service care including wellness and sick patient services, boarding, grooming, surgery, full body and dental digital radiography, ultrasonography and in-house as well as reference laboratories services. We place a premium on individual care for each of our patient.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who has strong leadership qualities and the desire to lead our team, is willing to learn and embrace our culture and standard operating procedures while making a concerted effort to enhance and grow the culture and procedures. Who is proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Quick Books. Experience using AVImark software being preferred. Has a minimum of 3 years of veterinary practice management and compassionate, cheerful and have a good work ethic.. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM).

Responsibilities include day-to-day operations with a major focus on personnel management including hiring and leading the team. A strong commitment to client service skills is imperative to be successful in this position. Other valuable experience includes strong initiative, enjoyment of a job well done, ability to work independently, knowledge of accounts receivable/payable, inventory control, experience holding staff meetings and conducting performance reviews. Strong leadership and communication skills are a must.

This is a salaried position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week and pay is commensurate with experience.
