Clarendon Animal Care is an expanding ten doctor AAHA-accredited clinic with two locations in the heart of Arlington, VA looking for exactly what the title states: an awesome veterinarian to add to our awesome team! We have phenomenal support staff that includes seven LVTs, extremely low veterinary assistant and reception staff turnover, a great client base, and pride ourselves on practicing exceptional medicine with a strong focus on client education! We're a positive workplace and would like to compliment our current team with a friendly, enthusiastic full-time associate who has strong medical and surgical skills, as well as exceptional client and interpersonal communication skills. We're looking for someone who loves what they do and enjoys the client/patient/veterinary relationship. Internship or 2+ years experience ideal. Outstanding work environment, supportive co-workers, and a rapidly growing clinic!   • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Virginia
  • Must be great with clients, and have ability to form lasting relationships
  • Value enhancement of the human animal bond and a veterinary-client-patient TEAM attitude
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
  • Must value and respect all team members
  • Must enjoy educating staff and clients as well as have a strong desire to personally develop and improve clinical and communication skills
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
  • Love of Veterinary Medicine!
