Thank you for considering our open associate veterinarian position.  We look forward to meeting you and determining if we are a good fit for each other.  Pet Care Clinic-Kuna is a 2-doctor AAHA accredited practice  providing comprehensive, high-quality, life-long medical, surgical, wellness, and dental care for 4-legged family members through regular examinations, appropriate vaccinations, a commitment to wellness/prevention, and early detection of problems through screening. We strive to provide this care in a friendly, compassionate atmosphere, in open dialogue with our clients. We place a strong emphasis on client communication and client education.   We are located about 15 miles from Boise and use WestVet, Idaho's only emergency and specialty hospital for after hours care and for pets requiring critical or specialty care we cannot provide.  (No on-call!)  We are open Monday-Saturday.  The doctors rotate surgery/anesthetic procedure time and see patients in 30 minute slots during the week and alternate weekend duties.  We have a staff to doctor ratio of 3:1.   We offer a base of $80,000/yr with a production of 22% of medical services above and beyond, and require at least 36 hours of scheduled clinic time per week.   We offer generous CE, paid professional licenses and dues, retirement, 100% employer paid medical insurance, and a mentoring program for new graduates.  We have digital CR, digital dental radiology, and ultrasound.  We use AviMark software and Rapport for client communication.  We are working on building a new larger facility with a move in ETA of September 2021.  If you are enthused about joining us, please send a letter of introduction, resume, and contact information to our Email address.  We look forward to meeting and getting to know you.

About Pet Care Clinic-Kuna
We are a 2 doctor practice located ~10 miles southwest of Boise, ID. Our practice has been serving Kuna as a family owned, local veterinary practice since 2002. We have achieved accreditation with the American Animal Hospital Association by adhering to stringent quality standards encompassing all aspects of veterinary medicine from pain management and patient care to team training and medical record keeping. Our hospital is one of only 15% of veterinary practices nationwide to be AAHA accredited. We highly value team training and the bond we create with our clients and patients.
