Animal Medical Specialty Center is looking to add an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our multi-specialty practice in Prescott, Arizona. We host specialty veterinary services that include Ophthalmology, Dentistry and Dermatology specialist on a regular cadence to provide our clients and pets the best service possible in our beautiful mountain community of Prescott and surrounding area. We strive to provide the best care for your pets and actively support both the local General and Emergency practices to best serve our community. We are expanding our services into Urgent Care to meet a key need in our communities and hospitals so we can provide efficient, compassionate care to patients with non-emergent conditions. This role will be an ideal blend that offers the fast pace of a busy ER department with the schedule and work/life integration typically found in a primary care position.

Our ideal Urgent Care Veterinarian:

• Loyal, Passionate about great patient care, good with people and plays well with others
• Exemplifies our guiding principles: Quality, Integrity, Compassion and Service
• Strong commitment to customer/hospitality service
• AFAST/TFAST training or equivalent in experience
• Basic Surgical skills for minor/moderate wound repair
• Strong communicator, team-player mentality, and values collaboration
• Internship training and/or experience in either GP or ER hospitals is preferred, an openness to continuous learning is a must!
