Full Time DVM Mixed Animal Practice

This full-time associate position requires a love of treating and working with all animal species. We are a 8 doctor practice so we all develop our special interests, but also have to step out of our comfort zone at times, but when you do someone is usually around to assist you with that difficult case or give a second opinion. We are computerized, and 98% paperless. We have SCIL digital radiographs and portable mini ray unit, ultrasound, gas anesthesia, In-house blood analyzers, Midmark Vet Pro 1000 dental unit and Midmark Vet Pro DC x-ray unit with two ambulatory trucks, two hydraulic standing chutes, one hydraulic tilt chute, one tilt table, two horse stocks and an incredible facility to work out of. You have to see it to appreciate it. This job requires you to be progressive, well-balanced, energetic, and it helps to have a sense of humor. We take care of our own emergencies but have equine and small animal referral centers less than an hour away. We work hard, and play hard. Downtown San Antonio is just 30 minutes away, and the beach and coast fishing is 90 minutes away, and South Texas Hunting is in our backyard. The schools are great, the communities are better, and our clients are our friends.
