Hancock Veterinary Services of Springdale, a CareVet partner, has a new opportunity for a Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian who wants to practice high quality medicine while having fun doing what we all love in the beautiful Northwest Arkansas area.

Hancock Veterinary Services of Springdale, one of four hospitals in the Hancock network, is poised for exponential growth…the only thing missing is you!  We are seeking a passionate, dedicated veterinarian to join our unique network, which allows for internal collaboration and referral among a group of nine colleagues.  Our Springdale location is a modern facility with high quality medicine/surgery and excellent clients who love their pets, and who want to provide the best possible care for them.  We enjoy our relationships with clients and consider them part of the Hancock family.  Our staff works well together, and we enjoy each other's company while at work. Veterinary medicine can be stressful, and we take our jobs seriously, but we try to have fun every day. Sense of humor and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

"Our group of practices offers a unique opportunity to practice high quality veterinary medicine within a network that offers automomy to do things your own way.  You can pursue interests and growth while still being supported and mentored to a large degree. We are comprised of practitioners spanning from recent grads to 20 plus years of experience with a similar philosophy of medicine but diverse experiences, viewpoints and skill sets all working together as a supportive team."

-Tom Hancock, DVM, Chief Medical Officer

Springdale is located in Northwest Arkansas (NWA) in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Mountains.  Northwest Arkansas references a unique group of municipalities unlike anywhere else in the country with a trade area of just over 500,000 people and the 22nd fastest metro area in the US.  The area is home to 3 Fortune 500 companies: Tyson Foods, Wal-Mart and JB Hunt and SEC member, the University of Arkansas.  NWA is well known for offering amenities and lifestyle benefits similar to larger metro areas with an affordable cost of living well below the national average.

Arkansas is called the Natural State because of its unparalleled natural beauty, and Northwest Arkansas epitomizes this moniker more than any other part of the state.  The region is home to numerous limestone caves, lakes and rivers dotted with national parks to provide an outdoor enthusiast plenty of activities.  For more metro minded amenities, the area has numerous shopping districts including the Pinnacle Hills Promenade and Northwest Arkansas malls.  The area is also home to a minor league baseball team (the Arkansas Naturals), a world class museum called Crystal Bridges, and an outdoor music venue offering top tier concerts all summer.  With an ideal blend of natural beauty and modern amenities, Springdale and Northwest Arkansas truly has something for everyone!

Our partnership with CareVet provides our veterinarians with benefits such as:

  • Competitive Compensation packages including Base Salaries with % Production
  • Signing and Relocation Bonuses
  • A Robust Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance & 401k with match
  • Employee Assistance Program with a focus on compassion fatigue & stress support
  • Vision for continuous advancement of patient care and services, including company paid dues and a focus on CE opportunities
