Laytonsville Veterinary Practice enjoys an excellent reputation within the community.  Our privately owned four-veterinarian practice is located in an affluent suburban/semi-rural neighborhood, with clients that are educated and a joy to work with.  The 12,000 sq ft hospital is clean and sunny, with lots of windows.  We have a full armament of diagnostic and therapeutic tools, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, three dental stations, diagnostic ultrasound, surgical laser, endoscopy, tonopen, full in-house laboratory, doppler blood pressure machines, and five anesthesia stations with full monitoring equipment.  We practice evidence-based medicine and try to provide the best solutions for each individual patient and family.  Our doctors are encouraged to develop their own niche within the practice, and we provide continuing education to support those goals.

The position available requires an approximate 40 hour work week, with no night emergencies.  The work week includes three full days and one half-day M - F,  two half-day Saturdays each month, and one three-hour Sunday shift every 4 weeks.  We have a technician living on site to keep watch over hospitalized patients, which provides a level of comfort and reassurance for our patients, clients and staff.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer health insurance, all professional dues, professional insurance, a generous retirement plan, continuing education, and vacation and family leave.

Come see us and find out why you'd be happy here.
