Pacific Veterinary Partners (“PVP”) is currently looking for full time Medical Directors to join our team. PVP is in the process of opening several animal hospitals in the greater Seattle area. These small animal veterinary hospitals will be providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. The hospitals will be newly built out with a clean and modern layout. They will be fully outfitted with the latest cutting-edge technology and equipment in all areas (clinical, client experience, and business management).  We are committed to building the next level of veterinary service experience with extreme focus on our core principles (1) Providing the Best Patient Outcomes (2) Providing the Best Client Experience (3) Top Tier Veterinarian Leadership (4) Investment in Team Development.  This is a unique opportunity for a qualified individual to become the face of a practice and to lead its growth.

The Medical Director will have clinical responsibility for the care of patients in all areas. This position brings the clinical voice forward, directs staff, and ensures the overall hospital success. The Medical Director will also focus on recruiting, mentoring, and developing Associate veterinarians in the practice. Profit sharing and practice co-ownership adds to the lucrative compensation package.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in multi DVM practice.
  • Ready to step into a leadership position.
  • Ability to recruit and train Associate DVMs and LVTs.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Washington state.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
  • Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
  • Manages time and tasks appropriately.
  • Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
  • Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
