Below is a summary of my associate position that is available.  Feel free to contact me at 803-230-4915.  I included a few pictures as well.   thanks

I am looking for a full-time associate Veterinarian for a General Practice in Rock Hill South Carolina. We see mostly dogs and cats but also exotic mammals. I am the Vice President and Chief of Staff Veterinarian of Tiger World which is a nearby zoo. I do all of their Veterinary work including many elective as well as medically necessary surgeries. I did a Spay on a 300 pound 2-year-old tiger at my facility a month ago.

If you take this position you will be able to work on all types of zoo animals while employed with me. I make multiple visits a year to the zoo to do physical exams, vaccinations, tb testing on the primates, sick visits, as well as any other medical procedure that is required. The zoo also has lions, primates, Gibbons, reptiles, a sloth, leopards, jaguars, multiple exotic avian species, bears, wolves, servals, and many other species of zoo animals. Some of the animals are so tame that you can get in with and interact with them. You will have the opportunity to work on the zoo animals, but it is not required if you want to just work at the general practice facility.

You will be able to work in our 14,000 square foot state of the art small animal/ exotic  facility with all of the latest updates in Veterinary equipment. I have two surgical suites one is used for orthopedics and zoo animal surgeries and the other one is used for general small animal surgery. I also have a dedicated dental suite that has a digital dental x-ray machine. We have a Veterinary ophthalmologist that sees patients in my hospital once a month. I also have ultrasound and endoscopic capabilities. I have an orthopedic surgeon that does any fracture or ACL surgery as needed as well. I also have digital x-rays, blood chemistry machines, and each exam room is equipped with a hydraulic lift table to protect all of my staffs backs when lifting animals. Our hours of operation are 8-12 and 2-6 Monday through Friday and 8-12 on Saturday.

You would be scheduled to work 36 hours per week with a full day off during the week and Saturdays are open for discussion.

An associate would be required to do general surgery and dentals as well as exam room visits on a daily basis. There would be no after hours on call required. I am open to hiring a new graduate or someone with any level of experience as a practicing Veterinarian.

I believe that the best Veterinarian is one that is not worked 50-60 hours a week and becomes tired and feels like that they have no life outside of their career. I think that Veterinarians should enjoy their jobs but also have time to experience everything else that life has to offer. If you become an associate at my facility you will have paid time off to go on vacations as well as a full day off a week to take care of personal matters as well as relax and enjoy well deserved time off. I am a member of a vacation club and can get discounted vacation homes anywhere in the world and offer that to my staff as a benefit of employment.  I also own a 3 bedroom condominium in a gated community that is one block from the ocean in North Myrtle Beach and you will have free access to that condominium if you take the position.

I am also paying a $5,000 finders fee to anyone that refers a Veterinarian to me that signs a one year contract.
