Associate Veterinarian
Healing Paws Center - Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33334
Full-time/Part-time

Healing Paws Center is looking for full-time or part-time holistic veterinarians to join our well-established and growing practice. We support our veterinarians with superior salary, benefits, and an enriching team-oriented environment and mentorship. There is NO ON-CALL OR OVERNIGHTS!

We specialize in the fast-growing field of Holistic and Integrative Veterinary Care, including acupuncture, rehabilitation/physical therapy & rehabilitation, laser therapy, nutritional consultations, herbal therapy, hydrotherapy, ozone therapy, infrared imaging, magnetic pain relief and much more! Experience in Holistic Veterinary Care is preferred but not required. Certification in rehabilitation (CCRT or CCRP) and/or certification in acupuncture (CVA or IVAS) is preferred but not required.

For enthusiastic and motivated candidates who would like to take advantage of the opportunity to broaden their skill set and develop new expertise, we offer a comprehensive training program and dedicated mentorship, as well as our sponsorship of an acupuncture certification from an accredited institution. Notably, the number of Holistic Veterinarians listed with the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association has steadily increased over the years as more and more people seek out holistic and integrative care for their pets, as is evident by the high demand we experience for our Holistic Services. And our clients love how much our holistic non-invasive services help their pets (check out our excellent Google Reviews for healingpawsfl.com)! This is an exceptional opportunity to establish a client base!

Our Holistic Practice is an optimal alternative to the typical General Practice, and we stress the importance of a work-life balance. Our veterinarians do not work Sundays, overnights, or on-call shifts. Sunny Fort Lauderdale Florida offers many cultural, musical entertainment and world-class sporting event options, renowned dining locations and spectacular beaches. Finish your shift in time to take in a sunset at the beach!

Our 3,500 square foot facility is State of the Art – with a fully-equipped canine gym, including underwater treadmill and land treadmill. We also have cutting edge equipment for therapeutic laser therapy, E-stim (NMES/TENS), magnetic pain relief therapy, and more! In addition, we have 5 exam rooms.

The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and able to build and maintain client relationships. We are looking for a licensed veterinarian that has the initiative and aptitude to find solutions to problems, present ideas to enhance current processes and procedures, take on additional responsibilities as new tasks arise, and is able and willing to perform duties without supervision.
