DVM or equivalent

This busy mixed-animal practice began as a family venture currently employs 3 FT and 1 PT DVM with a very diverse set of professional interests.  Looking for the *RIGHT* FT or PT individual(s) to join our group.  Both new graduates and experienced individuals considered.  Full-service large and small animal care with emergency service for established clients--on-call work is divided between associates, assistant and back-up are always available.  Practice is heavy on surgery, both routine and some speciality procedures (including more advanced soft tissue, orthopedic, large animal, and dentistry) as well as a substantial amount of wellness care and internal medicine work.  Mentoring strongly encouraged for new grads.  We also support outside CE for all doctors and senior staff--in addition to in-house monthly meetings led by our doctors and/or guest speakers for all employees.

In-house IDEXX lab, digital radiography (stationary, dental, and mobile), truck with Porta-Vet, and endoscopy are just some of the services we offer our clients.  See our website (schumacheraninalclinic.com) for a more inclusive listing.  CCRT and CCRA on staff with options for more non-traditional treatments such as hydrotherapy, acupuncture, cold laser, chiropractic, and PEMF available.  This practice continues to grow month-to-month and year-to-year and there is plenty of room to accommodate new individual and professional interests.  We are also in the midst of some internal remodeling and upgrades to our computer system this fall and winter.  Background check and/or drug testing may be required due to ongoing contracts with law enforcement and working canines.

Las Cruces is small city which continues to maintain more of a small town atmosphere.  Many clients have been loyal customers for decades (and even generations!)--they are also our neighbors and friends.  We strive to  maintain this relationship and provide the highest level of care tailored and directed to each individual client and patient.  Our desert climate is temperate and enjoyable year-round with nearby access to hiking, hunting, water-sports, skiing, and more.

DVM of equivalent with necessary licensing required.  FT or PT considered along with all experience levels.

NOTES:
2 openings.

Additional Salary Information: Additional Salary Information: All associates are paid a monthly base plus percentage of monthly clinic gross, added bonus pay for each emergency call seen.
