The ideal candidates will be highly motivated individuals with good communication skills and a passion for providing quality care to all of our patients. Candidates should be eager to learn!

Veterinary Technician's task include:

  • Drawing Blood
  • Collecting Stool Samples
  • Performing Laboratory Tests
  • Taking and Developing X-rays
  • Sterilizing Equipment and Cleaning Exam Rooms
  • Cleaning Teeth
  • Preparing Animals for Surgery
  • Administering Medications, Injections, IV Fluids and Anesthesia
  • Collecting and Recording Animals’ Medical Histories
  • Restraining Animals
  • Trimming Nails
  • Feeding and Walking Animals
  • Removing Sutures
  • Cleaning Wounds and Changing Dressings

Our goal at German Village Veterinary Hospital is to provide the highest quality of veterinary care. We strive to do this by treating our canine and feline patients not just as a pet, but as a part of our family.

We are closed on Sundays and major holidays. We do require on-call shifts on the weekends for boarding and hospitalized pets.

We are a busy four doctor practice in Columbus, Ohio experiencing rapid growth. You will enjoy a lot of collaboration on our team. Our doctors and technicians have differing backgrounds and levels of experience and we are looking to both teach and learn from each other. We strive to provide high quality medicine and surgery along with exceptional personalized client service and compassionate patient care. We focus on individualized patient needs and strive to exceed expectations of every client that we serve. We almost always have a full day of patients, which is approximately 25-35 patients at 15 or 30 minute blocks.
