Full-time Associate Veterinarian

Lakeside Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian for a full-time position in a six-doctor, full-service, high-volume hospital.  We are located in Moncks Corner, SC, home of the Santee Cooper Lakes- famous for its recreational boating and fishing.  Lakeside is just 30 minutes outside of Charleston, SC which has been voted America’s #1 Small City, nine years and counting.  We are well known for our old-fashioned hospitality. 

Our 6,400 sq. ft. hospital was recently expanded and remodeled and is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house laboratory, video-otoscope, and an electrosurgical unit.  We have two completely appointed surgical suites and four treatment areas to support our seven outpatient exam rooms.  Separate surgical, medical, and feline hospital wards allow us to maximize the comfort and care of hospitalized patients.  We have an extensive in-house pharmacy, licensed Pharmacy Techincian, and drive-through window for added customer service.  Nearby specialty and emergency facilities allow us the option for referral as well as emergency free nights and weekends.

We expect our veterinarians to be committed to our clients and strive to provide exceptional patient care.  Applicant needs a desire to handle complex medical and surgical problems with a team approach to cases.  Associates are offered a high, base salary with added production bonus.  Benefits include Simple IRA plan, personal pet care at cost, continuing education budget, dues/licensing allowance, and a Health Reimbursement Account.
