Equine Specialty Hospital - Externship

The Equine Specialty Hospital is the only referral practice in northeast Ohio with boarded specialists serving not only Ohio but also several other surrounding states. The hospital is among the best equipped facilities in the country with a full array of diagnostic modalities including MRI, nuclear scintigraphy, digital radiography, digital ultrasonography, videoendoscopy, dynamic videoendoscopy, and in-house laboratory equipment. The facilities include 27 stalls, isolation facility, neonatal intensive care unit, treatment rooms, and two surgical suites. We also have a rehabilitation/conditioning center equipped with an Aquapacer (underwater treadmill). The hospital is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week to optimize quality care and to facilitate the needs of our patients and clients.
