Elko, Nevada has been called the number one small town in America and has countless outdoor activities! With the Ruby Mountain Wilderness in our back yard, we are minutes away the lush green canyons and secluded mountain peaks. These mountain offer everything from world class winter sports like snowboarding, and Heli-skiing. As well as, the climate that allows other three season activities like horseback riding, hiking, fishing, mountain biking and hunting. In addition to all of the freedoms of the rural Great Basin high desert, Elko is only a few hours to the conveniences of the big city. We are located midway between Salt Lake City, Utah,  Reno, Nevada and is even closer to Twin Falls, Idaho. 

Want to work 2-3 days a week and still be able to make around $100k a year? We have an amazingly efficient staff and great team work to make it happen! Our current associates produce anywhere from $5k to $8k a day and take home anywhere from $850-$1700 a day depending on the amount of patients seen and the complexity of the cases. We are striving to have every employee enjoy a great work-life balance. 

Elko Veterinary Clinic is a progressive busy small animal practice that also enjoys a bit of equine, ranch and family livestock as well. We need another driven, energetic veterinarian that has exceptional communication skills with interest in practicing in a fast paced practice with exceptional and well trained support staff in a new and state of the art facility. We provide services that include digital radiology, IDEXX in-house diagnostic laboratory services, ultrasound,  MRI and CT imaging, electrocardiography, video-otoscopy, laser therapy, regenerative medicine, orthopedic surgery including TTA, TPLO, interlocking nail, external fixation, toggle pin, and plate and screw fracture repair, endoscopy, radiocautery surgery, glaucoma testing, dentistry with digital dental radiography just to name a few.  

We are the largest and busiest clinic in Northeastern Nevada and encourage new associates to expand the veterinary services we offer and support their CE and professional growth interests. There is never a dull moment with our heavy urgent care/emergency case load. Elko Veterinary Clinic's support staff is dedicated to excellent patient care, client communication, and team work which makes it a great environment for a veterinarian to enjoy fully utilizing their medicine and surgery skills. 

Benefit package is all inclusive. Salary is production based and expected to be between $100,000 and $300,000 per year working only 2-5 days per week with rotating weekends and holidays off.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required

License in good standing with applicable State Veterinary Board

License with the Drug Enforcement Agency required
