Equine Ambulatory Associate

TD Equine is searching for a passionate equine veterinarian to join our team.  We are primarily an ambulatory practice with a small haul in facility located just south of Calgary, in close proximity to Spruce Meadows, Rocky Mountain Show jumping, and the Calgary Polo Club.  Our clientele ranges from high end equine athletes to companion horses, including hunter/jumper, dressage, western performance, polo, retired geriatric and pleasure horses. As such the successful candidate will spend their time implementing performance health along with full-service health and wellness programs including but not limited to preventative health care, dentistry, pre purchase exams, lameness exams, diagnostics and treatments, emergency medicine and a small component of theriogenology.   TD Equine strives to provide top quality care to all of our patients. 

This position will provide mentorship for less experienced associates if required.  We have veterinarians on staff that are highly regarded for their experience with lameness and other sport horse issues, as well as a board certified surgeon and board certified sports medicine and rehabilitation diplomate.  TD Equine also works closely with the University of Calgary faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Their many board certified specialists are accessible and consult with our practice on a regular basis. The successful candidate will have completed an internship or have a few years of equine practice, be passionate about the equine industry and a team player.  An interest in chiropractic or acupuncture would be an asset.
