Live and work in the best of both worlds! Just a short distance from DC, NoVA, Baltimore and Annapolis, Calvert Animal Hospital is just minutes from the beaches of the Chesapeake Bay, Patuxent river, rolling farmlands and hiking trails. Calvert County public schools are also some of the best in the country.

We are a privately owned veterinary practice, so our doctors have the freedom to offer the very best in veterinary medicine with no pressure to follow any company mandated protocols in each pet's care. Instead, our veterinarians can partner with the pet owner to individually tailor a healthcare plan for each pet. In addition we are able to offer most testing in-house (DR radiography, Ultrasonography, Idexx in-house laboratory, etc), but refer to our local specialists and emergency care when necessary.

Successful candidates must have good communications skills, the ability to build rapport with clients, and work well with supportive staff.

We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K with matching, CE allowance, reimbursement of membership dues and PTO. New grads welcome.

Licensed or accredited.

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Annual or hourly options. Negotiable based on experience.
