Job Description

LOCATION : Hopkinton, Massachusetts, a town in Middlesex County, fewer than 30 miles west of Boston. The town is best known as the starting point of the Boston Marathon.

THE COMPANY : MASH – Main Street Animal Services of Hopkinton, is seeking a full time integrative veterinarian to join our team! MASH is an internationally recognized leader in integrative veterinary medicine. We offer conventional veterinary medicine and alternative therapies in a balanced whole health approach to healthcare. Our goal is to support the pet’s vital energy for good health and self-healing.

We use nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathy, ozone, and other modalities with traditional diagnostics, to optimize pet’s health. From well visits to chronic disease, we offer medicine that respects the integrity of the pet’s mind and body.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a MASH Veterinarian, you will be responsible for leveraging a robust set of tools to get a complete view and provide whole-pet healthcare. You will be exposed to the most recent advances in holistic and alternative approaches to animal wellness. The ideal candidate will have been working in alternative medicine. Commitment to client service and strong interpersonal skills are a must as well as a dedication to maintaining a positive work environment and fostering strong relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide the highest quality of care to our clients by phone, email and in person

Perform general procedures, surgery, and dentistry

Excellent decision-making skills to aid in choosing appropriate treatment methods

Educate clients on different modalities offered at MASH

Dose supplements and prescriptions

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine – including Massachusetts DVM license

Passion for integrative medicine

Experience with alternative and conventional medicine

Ability to communicate well with animal owners, staff members, and colleagues

Positive, can-do attitude

Detail oriented

THE TEAM — MASH is a small, personalized, and progressive practice with caring employees. You will get to work closely with Dr. Margo Roman, who is an internationally renowned veterinarian in the field of alternative veterinary medicine.
