Destination Pet - Northwood Animal Hospital is a brand new build, full-service, medical facility, located in the historic city of San Antonio. Our professional and courteous staff have been providing the best possible medical, surgical, and dental care to our highly-valued patients since 1976 and we have outgrown our original digs! We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventive health care, and health-related educational opportunities to our clients. As a care provider to northeast San Antonio and the greater metro area, our facility is a brand new, state-of-art facilty equipped to handle all aspects of our client's pet's needs. We cater to companion animals, as well as avians and exotics. We have 5 exam rooms, one of which will have an external door for euthanasia. We have one surgery suite, and two wet tables for dentals, our treatment area has 4 total tables, a cat ward that is soundproof, a dog ward, an isolation ward, and an imaging suite for X-ray and ultrasound. All the exam rooms have two doors, one leading the waiting area and one on the other side for direct access to our treatment area. It’s a very modern style and a beautiful facility!
