Nassau Veterinary Hospital is a private, family owned, progressive small animal hospital in Northeast Florida. We serve the communities of Yulee, Fernandina Beach, Southern Georgia and North Jacksonville. Our hospital is dedicated to offering compassionate, gold standard medical care to our clients. We are equipped with Avimark, a state of the art IDEXX inhouse laboratory, up to date surgery suite, digital radiography (including dental), a mobile ultrasound, cold laser, tonometry and more. Our staff is seasoned and well trained which makes for a enjoyable work environment.
The ideal candidate for this position is a doctor who is passionate about their work, values and thrives in the culture of our hospital, effectively communicates with our clients, and can collaborate with our team to provide the highest standards of care to our patients. We have a strong foundation within our community and maintain excellent relationships with our clientele. Currently we treat primarily dogs and cats but are open to expanding to more species if the right candidate desires. We enjoy a 4.5 day work week with no extended hours or emergency/on-call requirement.
Located just north of Jacksonville and just west of Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, our staff have the option to live in the big city, small town or along one of Florida’s beautiful beaches.
