Our facility is over 6,000 square feet. Inside you will find 5 comfortable exam rooms, a state of the art surgery room, a spacious hospital treatment area and modern x-ray facility. In addition, we have a grooming room, pet training room and an outdoor exercise area where agility classes are held. We can house 100 pets and over 40 team members dedicated to quality patient care!
We are looking for a dynamic business professional to lead our veterinary hospital as a Practice Manager. The Practice Manager plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the practice and is responsible for executing the business and marketing plan through motivational leadership to the team and interaction with our clients and patients throughout the day. Professional development and support is available through collaboration with our network of 59 veterinary hospitals. This position will consist of day, evening and weekend shifts.

Oversee service to our clients and patients, assuring its quality and consistency are meeting practice standards.
Plan and coordinate animal health services
Work collaboratively with the Veterinarians to implement appropriate healthcare programs for our client’s pets
Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
Implement and oversee inventory management and expense control
Produce and review management, productivity, marketing and fiscal reports.
Manage human resources including hiring, training, staff scheduling and payroll processing
Monitor all legal requirements for state, local and county.
Develop, recommend, implement and evaluate marketing strategies.
Ensure maintenance of facility and equipment.
Professional demeanor & appearance
4-5+ years’ experience in a managerial role- preferably veterinary industry!
College degree preferred, but not required
Previous experience in animal healthcare, human healthcare or other medical fields is a plus
Strong leadership analytical qualities
Strong organizational skills
Strong financial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Flexible and can adapt quickly
Problem solver, especially when dealing with conflict resolution
