Get the added advantage of working alongside board certified emergency and critical care specialist Dr. Finster! She completed her DVM at NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to do a rotating medicine/surgery internship at Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Saskatoon, Canada. While in Canada, she had many adventures including volunteering veterinary care for the 350-mile Canadian Challenge sled dog race.
Dr. Finster came back to North Carolina State to complete her residency in emergency and critical care. Her special interests include high risk anesthesia, fluid resuscitation and emergency stabilization, and traumatic brain injury. In her off-clinic time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and bike riding.
