The Department of Small Animal Clinical Studies, School of Veterinary Medicine at St George’s University, Grenada, WI, invites applications for a full-time or part-time faculty position in Small Animal Surgery. Appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level. The successful applicant will join an established small animal surgery teaching program. Job responsibilities include teaching basic small animal surgery in the graduate programs including active participation in team-taught laboratory surgery courses, providing clinical service in surgery in the Small Animal Clinic (including emergency services), developing and collaborating research programs and contributing to extension and continuing education programs. St George’s University has approximately 600 DVM students. This position will include also participation in different technical skills development courses to preclinical veterinary medical students across the curriculum.

The successful candidates must have:
Preference will be given to candidates with Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS), American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP), or European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS). Candidates who are board eligible will be also considered. A graduate degree is desirable but not mandatory. |
