We are looking for a mixed animal practitioner to join our team in Bridger Montana. This is a bit of unique opportunity as the position is split between our two practices. Both practices are mixed animal, but the Bridger practice is heavy on large animal work while the practice in Powell, WY is heavy on small animal work. Each clinic is set up well with equipment and staff and both are growing quickly. Each clinic has blood machines, pulse ox, ultrasound, x-rays and more. We are looking for a flexible person who can handle a true mixed animal schedule. Our team focuses on patient care as well as being active in our producers programs. We invest in our clients, in our small communities it is important to recognize that for us to succeed, they need to succeed. We are committed to working as a team and that allows us to take care of the needs of the clinic and our own needs as we strive for a work/life balance.
We currently work a 4-day work schedule for our doctors. We are very supportive of each doctor having their own interests in veterinary medicine and finding ways to help them pursue those areas. We feel strongly that for us to offer the best care to our clients we need to be active learners. Our team is currently 2 full time doctors, 1 part timer, and 1 doctor who is retired, but available for consult and training. An experienced doctor is preferred, but a new grad with great problem solving and people skills would fit in with our program as well. We are looking for an individual that wants to stay long term. Our clients need to see the same person year after year in order for them to know that any changes we are recommending to their herd plan come with years of us knowing what they are working towards.
Compensation is based on a base salary and production. We cover CE, vacation days, and license fees, DEA, etc. Since we are looking for someone who wants to join the clinic long term, we are open to additional training in interested areas. We want to make sure that while we work hard daily, we are keeping our doctors mentally healthy and excited about their profession.
Bridger is located 40 miles south of Billings. There is convenient access to skiing, whitewater rafting, fishing, hiking, horse activities and nearly any other outdoor activity you can think of. Billings is close enough to have all of the needed amenities, but far enough away that we do not feel like we are near a city.
There is lots more to discuss, so please contact Dr. Tori Lewis at 1-307-254-8855 or firstname.lastname@example.org. I am in the field a bunch, so texting works good too.
DVM or equivalent. Ability to obtain a Montana and Wyoming license.
Additional Salary Information: Production with guaranteed base.
