VCA Chatsworth Veterinary Center is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, small animal practice in Chatsworth, California—located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley.
We’ve been serving the local community for nearly 25 years. We pride ourselves on providing extraordinary technical support to our doctors, and delivering the highest quality medicine and exceptional service with a personal touch to our clients—all in a supportive and friendly work environment. We are new to the VCA family and excited to experience continued growth as VCA Chatsworth Veterinary Center. The successful candidate will enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule.
We’re situated on a prime lot on a main street in the North San Fernando Valley. The property includes a beautiful dog-walking park and generous, off-road parking. Our 6,000+ square foot facility features:
Four exam rooms, a spacious treatment area, and a state-of-the-art surgery suite.
Cutting edge surgical monitoring equipment.
Dental digital radiography.
In-house laboratory capabilities for selected blood chemistries, T4 and urinalysis. We use Antech for send-out labs.
As a member of the VCA family, your passion for medicine and compassion for pets and people is matched with a commitment to your professional growth. Among the reasons to consider joining VCA are:
Network of 3,800+ doctors, including more than 600 Specialists.
Largest provider of Private Practice Internships and Residencies in the U.S.
WOOF University, offering abundant CE for Doctors and Staff.
Robust Clinical Studies program.
Opportunities to give back through strong Shelter partnerships and VCA Charities.
VCA Chatsworth adds value to your compensation package with the following:
Competitive salary plus bonus potential.
Medical, Dental & Vision insurance.
Generous CE allowance.
Opportunity to teach and mentor.
Life and Long Term Disability insurance
Professional Liability coverage.
We are centrally located, yet removed from the hustle bustle of Los Angeles. Chatsworth is 45 minutes or less from the beach, downtown L.A., Ventura, Pasadena and Beverly Hills. It consists of residential neighborhoods, any number of small businesses, horse properties, large open-spaces, smaller recreational parks as well as a public library and an Amtrak station. Chatsworth has seven public and eight private schools. While a part of Greater Los Angeles, Chatsworth retains a small-town feel.
